Everything comes to contact@hexhoops.com. This is a small independent project rather than a company, so replies are usually within a few days rather than the same hour.

This is the most useful kind of message we get. Career totals, awards and team histories come from the public NBA stats source and occasionally something is off.

To make it quick to check, please include:

• the game and the puzzle date or number,
• the player's full name,
• which value looks wrong, and what you believe it should be.

Corrections are applied to future puzzles. Puzzles that have already been played stay as they were, since people have already shared their results.

If a puzzle will not load, a streak resets unexpectedly, or something breaks on your device, send the game, the date, and roughly what you were doing. Your browser and whether you were on a phone or a desktop both help a lot — most issues that only affect one person turn out to be device-specific.

To ask what is stored about you, or to have an optional account and its synced streaks deleted, email the address above from the account's email and say what you want removed. What is collected in the first place is set out in the privacy policy — most of it never leaves your own browser.

The daily answers are drawn from a deliberately narrow pool — All-Stars who debuted in the 1969-70 season or later, plus current players carrying a real scoring role — because a puzzle whose answer nobody recognises is not a fun puzzle. That does mean some genuine fan favourites are guessable but never the answer.

If you think someone belongs in the answer pool, say who and why. The same goes for board categories in Own the Court and groups in Connections: if a category felt impossible, or if you spotted a second valid solution the puzzle did not accept, that is worth a message.

This site has no connection to the NBA, to any team, or to any player. We cannot pass on messages to players, help with tickets or merchandise, or answer questions about official NBA statistics beyond what is used in the games here.

We also cannot restore a streak that was lost because browser data was cleared. Progress for signed-out players lives only in that browser's local storage, which is why the optional account exists.
